Meet the Executive Director of Pregnancy
Support Services (PSS), Cindy Kouhout.
Cindy brings with her over 25 years of executive
leadership experience. Cindy has worked in the youth and family programs in New York State, worked with
the elderly population as a Social Worker and Admissions and Marketing professional, and has worked in the
healthcare field in the areas of compliance, quality assurance and policy development.
Cindy holds her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology with a concentration in direct
care from the State University of NY at New Paltz. She also has her Master's degree in Public
Administration with a concentration in organizational change and executive leadership from Marist College
Cindy has also coordinated and participated in local and international mission trips to Israel, the
Dominican Republic and Mozambique, Africa. Cindy has a heart for serving in her community, especially
those in extremely challenging situations. Cindy and her husband Kolin are also foster parents and have a
calling to take care of the orphan, to show them the love of God and to show them who they are in
In her spare time, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons and daughter-in-law, as well
as serving in her church and her community at large. Cindy is very excited to welcome her first
grandchild due in May 2021!
Cindy and her team are committed to making PSS a place where women are offered help and hope as they
consider their choices in an unplanned pregnancy and where youth in our communities can learn to
distinguish between unhealthy and healthy relationships through our Relationships Ed. Program.
